Innovative and indefatigable are but two traits synonymous with Sydney based producer, mixer and songwriter Tony Buchen. Amassing an enviable list of credits over the last decade has seen Tony become one of the go-to producers in Australia, regularly called upon by indie artists and major labels alike whilst his collaborative song writing efforts enjoy national and international radio airplay.
In recent times Tony has been at the production helm of many significant emerging Australian artists such as The Preatures, Asta, Thelma Plum, Jeremy Neale and Montaigne. Equally at home in the international arena Tony has just mixed the debut album for Californian mega choir The Silver Lake Chorus, provided string arrangements for ex-pat Aussies now US based duo The Falls, and is collaborating on string quartet Fourplay’s latest project with acclaimed UK author Neil Gaiman.
Tony is also a founding member and producer of the newly formed band Oh Reach featuring Terry Serio and Marcus Gordon of Spookyland with whom he’s recently returned from Nebraska after recording Spookyland’s debut album.
